Wine lovers will enjoy discovering the fantastic choice of local wines of Bergerac, Saussignac and Monbazillac. The famous Bordeaux and St Emilion appellations are under an hours drive.
Our caretaker Anis Ward, also owns "Bilingualscool" and is fully qualified to offer bespoke wine tours as well as wine tasting at the villa. Please do contact Anis for all her information. These great experiences are proving to be very popular with our guests!
We have developed strong links with several family and dog friendly local vineyards for our guests to sample a range of vineyard experiences.

St Emillion and Bordeaux are within an hours drive and the Bordeaux appellation is within 5 miles of the villa.

In the old part of Bergerac is a very good wine experience and well with a visit.
Amanda and David left the Yorkshire dales in 2010 to start life as wine growers half way between Acabanes and La Grange our other villa. Enquire with Amanda for details of tours and picnics on their organic family farm. A real treat in the summer to enjoy a picnic by their lake with a bottle of their wine.
