Sunday lunch market– Soumensac
Mid July to the end of August, 20 minute drive south west. Choose your food and drinks from local farmers and sit at tressle tables with panoramic views towards the Pyrenees. Chicken, frites, salad, melons, snails, local wines, plates and cutlery provided. Park anywhere in tiny Soumensac and walk to the southern part of the village where you will see the stalls set up
Night markets in July and August - from 7pm
Sigoules - Fridays from the 2nd week in July to 3rd week in August. 15 minute drive east.
Beautiful 10 min drive via Monestier and La Bastide.
Check start time with the Chateau and book as early as possible as very popular

The Flower Market, Marche aux Fleurs, the first weekend in May.
The Foire aux Paniers in July - this is a willow weaving festival and you can buy baskets and gorgeous ornaments. For children there is a willow-weaving workshop in the afternoon.
Bodega in July - music, food and drink all in the open air. Lots of fun.
Medieval day - in August with lots of locals dressed in medieval clothing, a parade with jugglers and street theatre. Medieval crafts and music and art are all on display.
Pumpkin festival, Foire aux Potirons, in October - see pumpkins and gourds in all shapes and sizes and colours and sample the delicious pumpkin soup.
