The Pool and Pool Area

Relax in the heated 9x5m pool Heating - guaranteed 24 degrees from Easter until the end of October with a retractable cover which enables swimmers to use the pool in inclement weather. This cover also maintains the pool's temperature. Enjoy swimming at night in the glow of the pool light, listening to the sound of birdsong. A covered terrace next to the gas and charcoal bbq's allow for outdoor dining all year round.

Atmospheric lighting throughout enables the pool and terrace to be used late into the evening

Retractable Swimming Pool Cover

The retractable telescopic cover measures 10x6m and fully encloses the pool. It heats the pool using the greenhouse effect, meaning the water temperature is significantly higher than other pools in the area. In addition there is also a pool heater and the combined effect with the cover means the pool can be used from Easter to the end of October.

Also, the pool can be used during adverse weather. To enter the pool there are sliding doors at each end and one end section can be tilted and stored under the roof sections, allowing easy access whilst protecting the swimmer from the elements.

During the summer months this cover can be easily wheeled back during the day by two adults, to restore the pool to an open air facility.

The covered terrace for al fresco dining. Barbeque on gas or traditional charcoal while enjoying the views and watching the golfers!

The cover is also a safety feature, as when covered, access to the water can only be gained through lockable doors.
