Food and wine are at the heart of French culture. The quality and variety of cuisine can be viewed at local markets.

Within easy reach of the villa are numerous restaurants to suit all budgets. There are also a number of excellent restaurants where you can experience French cuisine at its best. A small selection of these are listed below; but Tracey also has an extensive list which is posted with your keys 2 weeks before you travel

Chateau des Vigiers Restaurants - 4 miles

The brasserie "Le Chai" is situated in an old wine making building. With its spacious restaurant and magnificent terrace overlooking the lake and the golf course, guests can enjoy regional specialities as well as lighter snacks in a friendly and informal atmosphere.

For formal dining, guests can enjoy dining in "Les Fresques". Highly inventive French cuisine accompanied by friendly, discreet service.
